We are a small, traditional machine shop specialising in the repair and reproduction of machine components. One of the techniques we use is thermal spraying, which allows us to restore worn fits quickly and sustainably. We distinguish ourselves by working closely with customers and identifying opportunities to improve their components wherever possible. We serve sectors including the (petro)chemical industry, the maritime sector and waste processing. Because downtime is often extremely costly, short turnaround times are very important to our customers.
Berg Metaal has secured a substantial order book for 2026. On top of this, regular repair work and orders continue to arrive throughout the year. So, as you can see, there is plenty to do and you certainly will not be bored.
If you join us, you must enjoy variety and be willing to work across a broad range of tasks. Our machine shop includes lathes, vertical lathes, milling machines, a boring machine, grinding machines and more. Due to the nature of our work, all our machines are conventional.
You will often take a product from A to Z, performing multiple operations. You independently set up the machines, carry out the work and clean your workstation afterwards. Since we mainly perform repairs, no two days are the same. We also expect you to contribute ideas for improving our processes and the company as a whole. You will be given the time and scope to do so. We are known for our exceptionally high quality standards and the service we aim to provide.
